Expedition Party: Feodor, Gossamer, Gregor, Koga As soon as rumors of the large building spotted in the Fields of Moseley made their way back to Strotherhine there was interest in organizing an expedition to explore it. Feodor makes it clear that he wants to explore the building and he convinces Gossamer, Gregor, and Koga to join him. On the 23rd of Balers’ the group sets out into the hot humid marsh around Strotherhine with a course charted south through the Fields of Moseley to the confluence of rivers where the structure had been spotted.  Their first stop is the tower ruins that they have been using as a sort of trading post with a group of goblins they had encountered. As part of the expedition preparation the party had purchased three pairs of boots, because the goblins had previously left them a drawing requesting these items. Player created map. Expedition Party: Lief, Feodor, Gossamer It is the first day of Balers’ the second month of Summer, and the season makes sure its presence is not forgotten. The day is cloudless with an unforgiving bright sun and a humid heat that clings to skin and fabric. A team of three adventurers make plans to search for a plant they have heard rumors about, it grows in the Fields of Moseley near fresh water. They decide to map a section of an unknown river that will take them into the pine forest known as the Burning Weald, and that they hope will feed into the grassy Fields of Moseley. As dawn breaks they set off on foot with what few possessions they can carry with them. As they enter the pine forest they find that their previous path is now choked with a red tipped ivy. Unsure of the plant’s nature, but aware of its sinister appearance they decide to try an alternate route around the patch. Player created map. Expedition Party: Gossamer, Barnaby, Feodor, Koga, Reike,   The heat of summer makes itself uncomfortably known as the group sets out from Strotherhine. Their goal is to further explore the space beneath the well they had previously found during Expedition 4. Quickly they march south through the Fields of Moseley to the ruined tower, and pass onward to the hill with the blackened oak, the collapsed shrine, and the strange well.  Once there the group makes camp. During the night those standing watch see odd human-like figures in the fields, they wander in the tall grasses but don’t approach the hill, likewise the party doesn’t approach the figures. During the second watch they witness the figures hunched over in the grass making sounds like loud eating and slurping.  The next day is equally hot and sunny with little to no wind and the party moves to explore the spot where the figures were hunched over.
